Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 and has been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital, kept in an isolation ward.
The 77 year old actor tweeted and revealed the news
T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !

Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.
Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis was among the first who took to Twitter to wish the Big B a speedy recovery. In his tweet, the BJP leader from Nagpur wrote that he wished the actor a quick recovery.
Several actors like Paresh Rawal, Bhumi Pednekar, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Rajkumar Rao, Kriti Sanon send in their good wishes to Amitabh Bachchan.
The actor was last seen in Shoojit Sarkar’s Gulabo Sitabo, which released on Amazon Prime. Two of his films, Jhund and Chehre are ready for release. He is also working in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
