Campaign to check purity of milk and dairy products till July 14 – Health Minister
Jaipur, July 8. Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma has said that a campaign has been launched from July 8th to 14th throughout the State under ‘Pure for Sure’ to ensure purity of milk and dairy products. Checking will be done by taking samples of dairy products and milk during the campaign.
Dr Sharma said that samples will be taken of milk and dairy products such as cottage cheese, butter, clarified butter, mawa and sweets etc during the campaign. He said all necessary equipment and facilities are being provided to all the Food Safety Officers.
He said that Food Safety Officers would provide information related to samples on ‘FSSAI app’ during the campaign. He said Food Testing Laboratory available at the divisional level will be utilised during this campaign. Health Minister said that action will be taken as per rules if samples fails.
Food Safety Officers have been directed to daily send the report of the campaign to the headquarters.
